Texas High School Football - Pieper over Seguin

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX), witnessed Pieper's football squad knock off Seguin by a tally of 56-42.

The Warriors (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX). The Unicorns go into the 5A-1 Region IV District 13 bout with a 6-0 record. In their last bout, New Braunfels beat Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX), 27-17, in a league bout.

The Matadors now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Smithson Valley for a 5A-1 Region IV District 13 bout on Friday, October 17. Seguin will encounter a Rangers team coming off a 48-7 league win over Wagner (San Antonio, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 5-1.
