Illinois High School Football - Prairie Central smashes Rantoul

The Prairie Central Hawks (Fairbury, IL) football trounced the host Rantoul Eagles (Rantoul, IL), 40-6 in Friday's league outing.

The Hawks now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Monticello for a Illini Prairie outing on Friday, October 17. Prairie Central will battle a Sages team coming off a 27-6 league win over Pontiac (Pontiac, IL). The Sages record now stands at 5-2.

The Eagles (0-7) will now prepare for their game against Paxton-Buckley-Loda (Paxton, IL). The Panthers enter the Illini Prairie game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Paxton-Buckley-Loda was trounced by Tolono Unity (Tolono, IL), 47-0, in a league game.
