Michigan High School Football - Springport defeats Quincy

In Friday's league match, the visiting Springport Spartans football squad scored a good 36-20 victory over the Quincy Orioles.

The Spartans (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Union City (Union City, MI). The Chargers go into the Big 8 battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Union City prevailed over Reading (Reading, MI), 32-6, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Orioles confront the Maple Valley Lions (Vermontville, MI) in a Big 8 match, on Friday, October 17. Quincy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Lions come into the match with a 2-5 record after their 20-13 league loss to Stockbridge (Stockbridge, MI).
