Roosevelt Rough Riders (Sioux Falls, SD) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting Stevens Raiders (Rapid City, SD), 30-22 in a league match.
The Rough Riders (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Washington (Sioux Falls, SD). The Warriors go into the Metro battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Washington prevailed over O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD), 20-17, in a league battle.
The Raiders now have a 0-7 record. They play next when they host O'Gorman for a Metro battle on Friday, October 17. Stevens will play a Knights squad coming off a 20-17 league loss to Washington (Sioux Falls, SD). The Knights record now stands at 4-3.
