The Washington Patriots were victorious over the visiting Southern Bulldogs football team by a score of 28-12 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Patriots clash with the Martinsburg Bulldogs (Martinsburg, WV) in a Eastern Panhandle outing, on Friday, October 17. Washington will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a 5-2 record after their 34-6 non-league win over Morgantown (Morgantown, WV).

With the defeat, Southern drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to South River (Edgewater, MD) to face the Seahawks in a non-league game on Friday, October 17.
