The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) and the host Corona del Mar Sea Kings (Newport Beach, CA), witnessed Newport Harbor's football squad knock off Corona del Mar by a tally of 35-7.

The Sailors (7-0) will now prepare for their bout against San Juan Hills (San Juan Capistrano, CA). The Stallions go into the bout with a 5-2 record. In their last bout, San Juan Hills was topped by Yorba Linda (Yorba Linda, CA), 42-21, in a league bout.

The Sea Kings now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Villa Park for a bout on Thursday, October 16. Corona del Mar will encounter a Spartans team coming off a 37-6 league win over Tesoro (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 7-2.
