The Whitman Vikings got by the visiting Blair Blazers football squad by a count of 14-12 in Friday's non-league test.
The Vikings now have a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Paint Branch for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 18. Whitman will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 4-1.
With the defeat, Blair drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Blazers host Springbrook (Silver Spring, MD) to meet the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Saturday, October 18. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 1-6. Springbrook lost 14-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD)
