The Edison Tigers felled the host San Joaquin Memorial Panthers football team by a score of 35-20 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers play the Sanger Apaches (Sanger, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, October 17. Edison will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Apaches go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 11-8 non-league loss to Kingsburg (Kingsburg, CA).
The Panthers (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Madera (Madera, CA). The Coyotes go into the challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Madera was dropped by Edison (Fresno, CA), 22-8, in a league challenge.
