The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Truckee Wolverines (Truckee, CA) and the host Lowry Buckaroos (Winnemucca, NV), witnessed Truckee's football squad knock off Lowry by a tally of 35-12.

The Wolverines (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Sparks (Sparks, NV). The Railroaders enter the contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Sparks was outscored by Elko (Elko, NV), 61-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Buckaroos battle the Fernley Vaqueros (Fernley, NV) in a contest, on Friday, October 17. Lowry will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Vaqueros go into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 14-13 non-league loss to Churchill County (Fallon, NV).
