In Friday's league challenge, the host Wilson Christian Academy Chargers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Wilmington Christian Academy Patriots.

The Chargers (12-3) will now prepare for their test against Southside Christian (Clayton, NC). The Warriors go into the test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Southside Christian went down by Hilltop Christian (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 2-0, in a league test.

The Patriots now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greensboro for a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. Wilmington Christian Academy will face a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 15-3.
