Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Upper Moreland nudges Bensalem

The Upper Moreland Bears soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Bensalem Fighting Owls to 4 in the Bears non-league victory on Friday.

The Bears now hold a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springfield Township for a non-league contest on Monday, October 13. Upper Moreland will face a Spartans team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over William Tennent (Warminster, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 12-4.

The Fighting Owls (4-12) will now prepare for their contest against Council Rock South (Holland, PA). The Golden Hawks enter the Suburban One - National contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Council Rock South was nipped by Council Rock North (Newtown, PA), 1-0, in a league contest.
