In Friday's league contest, the Temple Christian Crusaders (Madison Heights, VA) soccer team edged the host Fresta Valley Christian Pioneers (Marshall, VA), by a count of 1-0.

Next, the Crusaders battle the Blue Ridge Christian Bears (Bridgewater, VA) in a VACA contest, on Tuesday, October 14. Temple Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record. The Bears enter the contest with a 11-3 record after their 5-2 league win over Regents (Charlottesville, VA).
