In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Flagstaff Eagles volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Albany Cougars.
The Eagles (22-6) will now prepare for their challenge against San Dieguito Academy (Encinitas, CA). The Mustangs enter the non-league challenge with a 7-18 record. In their last challenge, San Dieguito Academy was beaten by Centennial (Bakersfield, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars meet the Bonita Vista Barons (Chula Vista, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, October 10. Albany will attempt to improve on its 14-15 season record. The Barons go into the test with a 7-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA).
