Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Rogers Royals (Rogers, MN) and the host Annandale Cardinals (Annandale, MN), observed Rogers's volleyball team hold off Annandale by a tally of 2-1.

The Royals (21-4) will now prepare for their contest against Providence Academy (Plymouth, MN). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, Providence Academy got by Blake (Minneapolis, MN), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Cardinals meet the Southwest Christian Stars (Chaska, MN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 10. Annandale will attempt to upgrade on its 16-4 season record. The Stars enter the contest with a 11-9 record after their 3-1 league win over Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN).
