In Friday's non-league match, the Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN) volleyball squad tipped the host Winona Winhawks (Winona, MN), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Tornadoes battle the Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars (Zumbrota, MN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 11. Anoka will attempt to move on its 15-10 season record.

The Winhawks (6-14) will now prepare for their match against Chanhassen (Chanhassen, MN). The Storm enter the non-league match with a 20-2 record. In their last match, Chanhassen held off St. Louis Park (St. Louis Park, MN), 3-1, in a league match.
