Fans at Friday's league contest between the Burncoat Patriots (Worcester, MA) and the host North Polar Bears (Worcester, MA), observed Burncoat's volleyball team top North by a tally of 3-0.

The Patriots (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Abby Kelley Foster (Worcester, MA). The Bears go into the non-league test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Abby Kelley Foster achieved victory over South Lancaster Academy (South Lancaster, MA), 3-2, in a non-league test.

The Polar Bears now own a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tantasqua Regional for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 14. North will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Grafton (Grafton, MA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-8.
