Vermont High School Volleyball - Rice Memorial overwhelmed by Champlain Valley Union

The Champlain Valley Union Redhawks topped the visiting Rice Memorial Green Knights volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Friday's non-league game.

Next up, the Redhawks face the Mt. Mansfield Cougars (Jericho, VT) in a Division 1 game, on Monday, October 13. Champlain Valley Union will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record. The Cougars go into the game with a 8-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Burlington (Burlington, VT).

The Green Knights (5-6) will now prepare for their game against Colchester (Colchester, VT). The Lakers go into the non-league game with a 7-4 record. In their last outing, Colchester beat Vermont Commons (South Burlington, VT), 3-1, in a non-league outing.
