Nelson Island Islanders (Toksook Bay, AK) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Chaputnguak Shaman (Chefornak, AK), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Nelson Island improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Islanders travel to Akiuk Memorial (Kasigluk, AK) to meet the Grizzlies in a Mix 6 Alaska Coastal challenge on Friday, October 10. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
