The Emery Spartans tipped the visiting Cristo Rey De La Salle Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Friday's non-league game.
Next up, the Spartans confront the Leadership Public Schools Richmond Pumas (Richmond, CA) in a non-league game, on Monday, October 13. Emery will attempt to advance on its 5-4 season record.
The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Oakland Military Institute (Oakland, CA). The Grizzlies enter the non-league outing with a 1-6 record.
