The DeMotte Christian Knights volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Hammond Academy of Science & Tech Hawks to 0 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.
The Knights now have a 10-19 record. They play next when they travel to Caston for a non-league outing on Thursday, October 16. DeMotte Christian will play a Comets team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Lakeland Christian Academy (Winona Lake, IN). The Comets record now stands at 7-23.
With the loss, Hammond Academy of Science & Tech drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN) to play the Cherokees in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 14. The Cherokees come into the outing with a record of 17-10.
