Lee Williams Volunteers (Kingman, AZ) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host El Capitan Eagles (Colorado City, AZ), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Volunteers (19-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Williams (Williams, AZ). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 12-6 record. In their last challenge, Williams edged Holbrook (Holbrook, AZ), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Water Canyon Wildcats (Hildale, UT) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, October 14. El Capitan will attempt to advance on its 6-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the test with a 5-9 record after their 3-1 league win over Escalante (Escalante, UT).
