The El Capitan Gauchos volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Vista Murrieta Broncos to 0 in the Gauchos non-league triumph on Friday.

The Gauchos now have a 19-8 record. They play next when they travel to La Jolla for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 11. El Capitan will play a Vikings team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Westview (San Diego, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 9-15.

With the loss, Vista Murrieta drops to 11-18 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to Calexico (Calexico, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 11. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 6-14. Calexico won 3-0 in their recent league game against Vincent Memorial (Calexico, CA)
