In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Lee Williams Volunteers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Globe Tigers.
The Volunteers (19-12) will now prepare for their challenge against El Capitan (Colorado City, AZ). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, El Capitan lost by St. Michael (St. Michaels, AZ), 3-1, in a league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Joseph City Wildcats (Joseph City, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, October 12. Globe will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 23-11 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Rock Point (Rock Point, AZ).
