Connecticut High School Volleyball - Granby Memorial over Torrington

The Granby Memorial Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Torrington Raiders to 0 in the Bears non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bears now have a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Sports & Medical Sciences Academy for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 14. Granby Memorial will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Hartford Public (Hartford, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 10-5.

The Raiders (4-11) will now prepare for their game against Watertown (Watertown, CT). The Warriors go into the Naugatuck Valley game with a 1-9 record. In their last game, Watertown was topped by Waterbury Career Academy (Waterbury, CT), 3-0, in a league outing.
