Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Iredell Dragons (Iredell, TX) and the visiting Valor Preparatory Academy Knights (Waco, TX), observed Iredell's volleyball team top Valor Preparatory Academy by a count of 3-1.

The Dragons (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against Three Way (Stephenville, TX). The enter the 1A Region II District 13 contest with a 0-12 record. In their last battle, Three Way dropped by Bluff Dale (Bluff Dale, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Knights now own a 26-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Reicher Catholic for a TAPPS 2A District 5 battle on Thursday, October 16.
