In Friday's non-league bout, the King Cove T-Jacks and Rookies (King Cove, AK) volleyball team held off the host Lumen Christi Archangels (Anchorage, AK), by a margin of 1-0.
The T-Jacks and Rookies now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Cordova for a non-league bout on Friday, October 10. King Cove will clash with a Wolverines team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Tri-Valley (Healy, AK). The Wolverines record now stands at 13-3.
The Archangels (0-5) will now prepare for their match against Susitna Valley (Talkeetna, AK). The Rams enter the 2A Borealis match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Susitna Valley held off Kodiak (Kodiak, AK), 2-1, in a non-league match.
