In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting San Marcos Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the La Canada Spartans.

The Knights (17-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Westview (San Diego, CA). The Wolverines come into the Coastal (NCC) challenge with a 20-7 record. In their last challenge, Westview lost by Lake Stevens (Lake Stevens, WA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans play the Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 11. La Canada will attempt to upgrade on its 15-16 season record. The Islanders come into the challenge with a 26-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Valley Christian (Chandler, AZ).
