In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Linfield Christian Lions volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns.
The Lions (14-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Foothill (Santa Ana, CA). The Knights enter the non-league challenge with a 20-6 record. In their last challenge, Foothill achieved victory over La Habra (La Habra, CA), 3-0, in a league test.
The Longhorns now sport a 4-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Foothill for a non-league test on Friday, October 10. Rancho Buena Vista will face a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 league win over La Habra (La Habra, CA). The Knights record now stands at 20-6.
