Connecticut High School Volleyball - New Britain overwhelmed by Maloney

Maloney Spartans (Meriden, CT) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting New Britain Golden Hurricanes (New Britain, CT), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Maloney advances its record to 12-4 on the season. The Spartans travel to Sheehan (Wallingford, CT) to play the Titans in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 15. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 6-9.

Next, the Golden Hurricanes play the Rocky Hill Terriers (Rocky Hill, CT) in a Central Connecticut - South challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. New Britain will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record.
