South Dakota High School Volleyball - Rapid City Central bounced by Mitchell

Mitchell Kernels (Mitchell, SD) backers were in high spirits Friday as they observed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Rapid City Central Cobblers (Rapid City, SD), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Kernels (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Stevens (Rapid City, SD). The Raiders enter the AA District 1 challenge with a 20-3 record. In their last challenge, Stevens beat Northwest (Grand Island, NE), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cobblers meet the Huron Tigers (Huron, SD) in a AA District 1 challenge, on Saturday, October 11. Rapid City Central will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Pierre T.F. Riggs (Pierre, SD).
