Riverside Warriors (Belle, WV) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host James Monroe Mavericks (Lindside, WV), 7-5 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Warriors confront the Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 13. Riverside will attempt to move on its 8-8 season record. The Eagles enter the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 9-1 non-league loss to Hoover (Clendenin, WV).
The Mavericks now possess a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they host Bluefield for a Coalfield AA challenge on Wednesday, October 12. James Monroe will confront a Beavers team coming off a 2-2 league PikeView (Princeton, WV). The Beavers record now stands at 6-7.
