The Pilgrim Patriots volleyball team (Warwick, RI), was edged 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Barrington Eagles (Barrington, RI)

The Eagles (11-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI). The Chieftains come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Ponaganset was edged by Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI), 2-1, in a non-league match.

With the loss, Pilgrim drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Rogers (Newport, RI) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league match on Thursday, October 13. The Vikings come into the match with a record of 1-2.
