The Mescalero Apache Chiefs held off the host Dexter Demons volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Chiefs now have a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lordsburg for a non-league test on Thursday, October 13.
The Demons (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Tucumcari (Tucumcari, NM). The Rattlers enter the non-league test with a 1-1 record.
