The Carmel Christian Cougars (Matthews, NC) soccer nipped the visiting Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans (High Point, NC), 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
With the victory, Carmel Christian moves its record to 12-1 on the year.
In their next game, the Trojans confront the Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles (Rabun Gap, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 14. Wesleyan Christian Academy will attempt to move on its 16-3 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 12-2 record after their 4-0 league win over Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC).
