Illinois High School Volleyball - Brown County tips Calhoun

October 11, 2022: Hardin, IL 62047

The Brown County Hornets (Mt. Sterling, IL) volleyball nipped the host Calhoun Warriors (Hardin, IL), 2-1 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Hornets (20-10) will now prepare for their battle against Hamilton/Warsaw (Hamilton, IL). The Titans come into the non-league battle with a 11-9 record. In their last battle, Hamilton/Warsaw was edged by Mendon Unity (Mendon, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Warriors clash with the Routt Catholic Rockets (Jacksonville, IL) in a Western Illinois Valley battle, on Wednesday, October 12. Calhoun will attempt to advance on its 21-5 season record. The Rockets come into the battle with a 9-20 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to South County (Franklin, IL).
