Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH) backers left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Columbiana Clippers (Columbiana, OH), 3-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Tigers battle the Struthers Wildcats (Struthers, OH) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, October 12. Springfield will attempt to better on its 11-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 6-14 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Mathews (Vienna, OH).

With the loss, Columbiana drops to 13-8 on the campaign. The Clippers travel to Ursuline (Youngstown, OH) to battle the Fighting Irish in a non-league match on Wednesday, October 12. The Fighting Irish come into the match with a record of 14-6. Ursuline won 3-1 in their recent league match against Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH)
