In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Mescalero Apache Chiefs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Dexter Demons.
The Chiefs (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM). The Mavericks come into the 2A District 3 battle with a 4-10 record. In their last battle, Lordsburg lost by Reserve (Reserve, NM), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Demons clash with the Tucumcari Rattlers (Tucumcari, NM) in a 3A District 4 battle, on Tuesday, October 18. Dexter will attempt to advance on its 2-12 season record.
