The Elmwood Park Tigers volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Westmont Sentinels to 1 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.

The Tigers now have a 13-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Leyden for a non-league game on Wednesday, October 12. Elmwood Park will meet a Eagles team coming off a 2-0 league win over Berwyn/Cicero Morton (Cicero, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 12-13.

The Sentinels (10-15) will now prepare for their game against Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family (Downers Grove, IL). The enter the non-league game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family nipped Families of Faith Christian Academy (Channahon, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
