Maryland High School Volleyball - Long Reach overwhelmed by Hammond

The Long Reach Lightning volleyball team (Columbia, MD), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Hammond Golden Bears (Columbia, MD)

The Golden Bears (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD). The Wildecats come into the Howard County challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, Wilde Lake went down by Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lightning encounter the Atholton Raiders (Columbia, MD) in a Howard County challenge, on Thursday, October 13. Long Reach will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Howard (Ellicott City, MD).
