The West Aurora Blackhawks (Aurora, IL) volleyball overcame the visiting Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL), 2-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, West Aurora betters its record to 8-16 on the year. The Blackhawks travel to Hononegah (Rockton, IL) to face the Indians in a non-league outing on Friday, October 14. The Indians go into the outing with a record of 26-2. Hononegah won 2-0 in their recent league outing against Freeport (Freeport, IL)

The Steelmen now sport a 2-17 record. They play next when they host Yorkville for a Southwest Prairie outing on Thursday, October 13. Joliet Central will face a Foxes squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL). The Foxes record now stands at 14-13.
