The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Maloney Spartans (Meriden, CT) and the host Middletown Blue Dragons (Middletown, CT), saw Maloney's volleyball squad beat Middletown by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Maloney upgrades its record to 7-5 on the year. The Spartans host Simsbury (Simsbury, CT) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, October 13. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 12-1. Simsbury won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Bristol Central (Bristol, CT)
