The Narragansett Mariners topped the visiting Woonsocket Villa Novans volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Mariners now have a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Block Island for a Division 3 - A test on Thursday, October 13. Narragansett will confront a team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Central (Providence, RI). The record now stands at 3-2.
The Villa Novans (1-6) will now prepare for their test against St. Mary Academy-Bay View (East Providence, RI). The Bengals enter the Division 3 - B test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, St. Mary Academy-Bay View was knocked off by Central Falls (Central Falls, RI), 3-0, in a non-league test.
