In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Scott Skyhawks volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Point Pleasant Big Blacks.
The Skyhawks (19-5) will now prepare for their battle against Wayne (Wayne, WV). The Pioneers come into the non-league battle with a 20-8 record. In their last battle, Wayne defeated Sissonville (Charleston, WV), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Big Blacks encounter the Ripley Vikings (Ripley, WV) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 13. Point Pleasant will attempt to move on its 7-24 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 19-7 record after their 2-0 league loss to Hurricane (Hurricane, WV).
