In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Thurgood Marshall Academy Warriors volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Washington Latin Public Charter School Lions.

The Warriors (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Paul Public Charter International (Washington, DC). The Pirates come into the PCSAA battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Paul Public Charter International nudged E.L. Haynes (Washington, DC), 2-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Lions clash with the Girls Global Academy Trailblazers (Washington, DC) in a battle, on Thursday, October 13. Washington Latin Public Charter School will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Trailblazers come into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to KIPP DC Legacy College Prep (Washington, DC).
