The Bexley Lions held off the visiting Grandview Heights Bobcats soccer squad by a margin of 4-3 in Wednesday's league match.
The Lions now sport a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Lexington for a non-league match on Saturday, October 14. Bexley will encounter a Minutemen squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Bishop Hartley (Columbus, OH). The Minutemen record now stands at 8-4.
