In Wednesday's non-league game, the Midland Valley Mustangs (Graniteville, SC) football team knocked off the visiting Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC), by a score of 44-14.
The Mustangs (6-1) will now prepare for their game against South Aiken (Aiken, SC). The Thoroughbreds come into the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, South Aiken toppled Airport (West Columbia, SC), 36-8, in a non-league game.
The Fighting Green Hornets now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lexington for a non-league game on Thursday, October 19.
