In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Providence Catholic Celtics soccer squad scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Saint Viator Lions.
The Celtics (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Muchin College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Mountain Lions come into the non-league battle with a 4-15 record.
The Lions (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Redwings come into the East Suburban Catholic battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Benet Academy nudged Carmel (Mundelein, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
