The Slaughter Community Charter Knights volleyball team (Slaughter, LA), went down 3-0 in Wednesday's league challenge with the visiting Central Private Redhawks (Baker, LA)

The Redhawks (17-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Northeast (Pride, LA). The Vikings come into the Division IV District 3 challenge with a 13-10 record. In their last challenge, Northeast went down by Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Knights encounter the Southern Lab Kittens (Baton Rouge, LA) in a Division I District 6 challenge, on Monday, October 16. Slaughter Community Charter will attempt to move on its 7-12 season record. The Kittens come into the challenge with a 13-11 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA).
