The Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Swamp Owls volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Eleanor McMain Mustangs to 0 in the Swamp Owls league victory on Wednesday.
The Swamp Owls now have a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Riverdale for a Division II District 6 game on Monday, October 16. Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy will meet a Rebels team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 10-16.
The Mustangs (3-15) will now prepare for their game against West Jefferson (Harvey, LA). The Buccaneers enter the non-league game with a 5-8 record. In their last game, West Jefferson dropped by Bonnabel (Kenner, LA), 3-2, in a league game.
