Ohio High School Volleyball - Kirtland tips Jefferson Area

October 11, 2023: Kirtland, OH 44094

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Kirtland Hornets (Kirtland, OH) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Jefferson Area Falcons (Jefferson, OH), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Hornets battle the Grand Valley Mustangs (Orwell, OH) in a Chagrin Valley - Valley contest, on Thursday, October 12. Kirtland will attempt to better on its 12-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 7-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Berkshire (Burton, OH).

With the loss, Jefferson Area moves to 18-3 on the year. The Falcons host Conneaut (Conneaut, OH) to battle the Spartans in a Chagrin Valley - Lake contest on Thursday, October 12. The Spartans go into the contest with a record of 5-16. Conneaut lost 3-1 in their recent league contest against Edgewood (Ashtabula, OH)
